Bitey Dog
I made my first cloth doll at age nine and my first dress at 11.
I knitted, I crafted, I cross stitched; I embroidered, I decorated and I made all my own clothes, all while still in school.
Now, as a maker with my own business known as Bitey Dog, I love to repurpose textiles and am drawn to texture and colour, like a magpie.
In recent years Australian woollen blankets have been a special interest and I love to use them as appliqué to recreate Australian flora as the design on my pieces.
